Pinewood Capital was founded in 1998 by Michael A. Huczko, the former COO of the spectacularly successful Duquesne Capital Management. Today, includes Pinewood Capital Management, LLC and serves as the premiere incubator for fledgling managers try to launch.

Michael A. Huczko
Founder and CEO of Pinewood. He has acted as an outsourced COO/CFO/CCO to many Private Fund Managers; as well as the COO of spectacularly successful Duquesne Capital Management, LLC, where he helped to grow the firm from under $50 million in 1987 to a multi-billion dollar AUM by the time of his departure in 1996. Mr. Huczko has also been an Adjunct Instructor of Finance at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown.
Mr. Huczko earned an Executive Juris Doctor from Concord Law School, in 2017, Graduating with Honors and awarded as a Distinguished Scholar; received a Certificate in Entrepreneurial Management from Carnegie Mellon University, in 1995; and earned a dual B.S. in Mathematics and Business from the University of Pittsburgh, in 1987.
Mr. Huczko was recognized by Global Custodian Magazine - Awards for Excellence New York 2011. Additionally, he holds a Series 3, and has served as an Advisory Director to S&T Bank and on many investment fund and charitable foundation boards of directors.
